Hey there Tracker fans! It's been a minute since we last celebrated Tracker Tuesday, but that's only because Tracker has been so busy getting the word out about vaccines.
This past September, Tracker traveled all the way to Minneapolis for the National Conference on Immunization Coalitions and Partnerships. While there, she had a blast riding the roller coasters at Mall of America, but most importantly, presenting to other state immunization coalitions about how they can reach out to kids and families like yourselves to increase vaccine rates.
Now that it's October, you know what that means: it's time to say Boo to the Flu!
The best time to get your flu shot is before Halloween because science tells us that September and October are when the flu vaccine can teach your body how best to fight off the flu.
Of course, if you can't make it before then, flu vaccination after October can STILL protect you during the peak of flu season.
This year, now that COVID-19 boosters are available for children ages 5 and older, you can get your booooooo-sters too. Get it!?
What will you be for Halloween? Tracker is still deciding between a Ghost and a Pumpkin. Comment below which one you like better!
Stay safe out there this Halloween and remember- say Boo to the Flu!
